At Hotel Casella, your day starts in fine style
with a generous buffet breakfast, including our unmissable apricot
jam - made using fruit from the garden - and our still-warm plumcake.
We will make your mouth water with our delicious cuisine - the
aromas and flavours of our dishes are sufficient to satisfy even
the most exacting gourmand. Choose what you like from our menu,
which features a host of typically Ligurian specialities and
is enriched with an assortment of crudités. Wonderful
homemade desserts and seasonal fresh fruit are also at your disposal.
The focus of our kitchen is very much on the use of genuine,
ultra-fresh local produce. Many of the ingredients you will have
the pleasure of sampling come from our 10,000 m2 estate, which
is managed directly by the owner of the Hotel, and is where we
also produce our excellent D.O.C. Pigato and Rossese wines.
The estate is also home to an ancient olive mill called Gumbu -
which once belonged to the Marquises of Carretto - with vintage
oil press and stone grinder, donated by our family to the town
of Pietra Ligure. These days, the press and grinder have wisely
been transferred to the seafront.
